Ayla meets "Baby Brother"

This is a video of when Ayla was first brought to the hospital and met Caiden. It is really cute how much she loves her baby brother. She might be a little too into him,I'm always watching her when she's around him because she wants to kiss and hug him so much I'm afraid she could accidentally hurt him. She always says "Baby brother is so cute!" In the morning when she wakes up she always comes directly into my room. I always pull her into my bed to cuddle with me for a few minutes. Since Caiden has been here her first priority is to make sure that he's okay. She comes into my room and says "How's baby brother" and then checks on him in his bed, it's really cute. I'm very lucky I have two great kids and I love them both so much!

Funny Girl!

This is a list of funny things that Ayla has said and done.
Conversation between Lucas and Ayla. "Daddy what's the matter?" Daddy says: "I'm really tired" Ayla: "I know how to make you feel better!" She runs away, comes back a minute later with her toy flashlight. Daddy: "How are you going to make me feel better with your flashlight?" Ayla: "I'm going to put on a shadow puppet show!" -April 2012
While watching Beauty and the Beast (which she has seen 50 times) at the part where Belle comes out in her beautiful yellow dress Ayla remarked "Oh I can't believe my eyes!"-March 2012
Daddy was doing something funny and Ayla said "Oh Daddy you're a hoot!"-February 2012
While cuddling with Ayla one night in her bed I was singing a song to her. She turned her head away and asked "Mom can you go brush your teeth before you sing again?"-February 2012
Lucas was doing something silly making us all laugh. I looked at Ayla and twirled my finger around my ear while pointing at Daddy, completing forgetting that she doesn't know the universal sign for "crazy". She looked at Lucas and said, "Oh Daddy you're such a rolling pin!"-January 2012
At dinner I asked Lucas to get the crumbly bleu cheese out of the fridge. Ayla got this horrified expression on her face and said "Eww!" I asked her what was wrong, she responded, "I don't want any of that grumpy old cheese!"-January 2012
When we got up this morning and turned the TV on it was tuned to one of Lucas's shows about cars. Ayla commented "Oh, I LOVE classic cars in the morning!"-December 2011
When reading a Christmas book Ayla asked me where Santa's ship was. Confused I told her he doesn't have a ship. She said "Yes he does, a pirate ship!" Even more confused I told her Santa wasn't a pirate. She then looked at me and in all seriousness said, "Then why does he say Yo Ho Ho" -December 2011
When putting Ayla to bed the other night I was cuddled up next to her with my head on her pillow and we were singing a song. Suddenly she said "Shh Mommy let me sing you a lullabye" She then proceeded with "Lullabye and goodnight, go to sleep little Mommy"-November 2011
After we finished singing quite a few songs which is our normal bedtime routine, Ayla said "Whew all this singing has really tired me out!"-November 2011
I got angry with Ayla for something she did and started to raise my voice with her. "Don't yell at me Mommy" she said, "you're my best friend!"-November 2011
I had some rolls sitting on the counter waiting for dinner. Lucas walked out into the kitchen and caught Ayla biting one. She smiled at him, put her finger to her lips, and said shhh!-November 2011

One night when she was having a hard time sleeping she kept getting out of bed each time with a different excuse. I was quite exasperated and the sixth or so time that she came out I said "Ayla what is it now?" I have dust in my nose Mommy was her response!"-July 2011
One day when Ayla was supposed to be laying down for nap I noticed her light was on, I stormed into her room only to find that she had put on her gymnastics leotard and was laying on the floor with her leg in the air. "I'm doing my workout Mommy" she told me!-June 2011
One day when Grandma was over Ayla wanted to watch her shows but Grandma turned on one of Grandma's shows. Ayla exclaimed "Oh no, Grandma's shows!"-February 2011
On our way to church one Sunday Ayla asked "Mom where is the church". I told her you'll know when we get there punkin. Upon pulling into the parking lot Ayla remarked "Oh good we found the church!"-December 2010
