Last night Caiden got the rare opportunity to take a bath by himself. Normally I bathe them together but Ayla had showered earlier in the day. Anyway, he was loving it and lookin so cute while he had a grand old time that I had to take pictures. He can sit perfectly well on his own but in order to have my hands free to take the pictures I put him in the baby bathtub. This provides him with a little more stability when he's bouncing, splashing, and kicking. When he sits in the bottom of the tub on his own he tends to slide all over the place because he moves so much and occasionally he slips so I need to be right there so he doesn't go under. Putting him in the baby bathtub solves the problem. He can move all over the place, and he would really have to work to get himself to slip under. Yes I know I put my baby boy in a pink bathtub, but I think he's comfortable enough in his masculinity to get over it and forgive me. Enjoy the pictures of my beautiful babylicious boy!

This one totally reminds me of the e trade baby commercial where the guy gets mad when he doesn't win on his scratch off ticket and the baby says: "let me show you my surprised face;"...this was the surprised face.
